Who are the Knight of Columbus?

We are Catholic men, your neighbors, friends and fellow parishioners. We are 175 members strong supporting the parish of Mary Mother of the Church, when you are in Church, there is a Knight close by.

What do the Knights of Columbus Do?

The Knights of Columbus have four general programs – Family, Community, Life & Faith. Under these programs are numerous activities that we support and sponsor such as Coats for Kids, Food for the Hungry, Soccer Challenge, Diapers for Babies, Alzheimers, Free Throw Contest, March for Life, Keep Christ in Christmas, Veteran’s Assistance and Senior Citizens, to name just a few.

If you have ever considered joining us but were afraid that the commitment may be too great, let me assure you that no one will ever ask you to donate more of your time than you want. You have no idea how greatly it would be appreciated if you can just donate even two hours of your time a year to help in one of our activities.

Upcoming Events 

  • Chapter Baby Shower Collection – We have set-up bins at the exits to both church for the collection of baby shower gifts for our Annual Chapter baby shower. These bins will remain in both churches throughout the Easter season. All items collected will be presented to First Way of Burlington and Choice One Pregnancy Center. Both organizations have indicated that they are in need size 4 and 5 diapers. Please give what you can. In addition, anyone who would like to attend the Chapter Baby Shower the date is Sunday, April 19th from 12pm to 2pm at the Hamilton Council Knights Hall. The cost is $10 per ticket. The Bordentown Knights of Columbus Council #570 is once again pleased to announce that they will offer Scholarship Awards to graduating seniors from the class of 2020.  No individual will receive an award in excess of $1,000.

To be considered eligible for one of these awards an applicant must:

  • Have maintained a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.0 at the end of the January semester 2020.
  • Have an immediate family member (father, mother, brother, sister, grandparent) be either a registered parishioner of Mary, Mother of the Church Parish in Bordentown or a member of the Bordentown Knights of    Columbus Council #570 in good standing.

Scholarship Application forms may be obtained in the following manner:

  • At St. Mary Church (Information rack located to the right of the center back doors.  Folder labeled Knights of Columbus Council # 570 Scholarship forms.
  • At Holy Assumption Church—similar folder located at the second floor landing of the stairs at the side entrance to the church.
